It’s no secret how well 3-letter .coms have performed over the years but as popular as they are you still don’t expect to see the kind of eye-popping performance they turned in this week. The group accounted for the four highest sales reported and swept 14 of the 20 entries on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart.
Two of those sales cracked the six-figure barrier with Sedo securing $115,000 for #1 OCS.com and BQDN.com banking $102,000 for DIL.com. BQDN also put SZD.com in the #3 slot with a $44,500sale and NameJet rounded out the first four with TRM.com at $44,000. NameJet also had the first chart entry that wasn’t a 3-lettter .com – and it missed by just one letter as #5 Timi.comattracted $40,666.
